Welcome to the website of Goddess Earthworks!  Here, you will find a few photographs of my work as well as information on upcoming shows and exhibits.

I strive to create fun, unique, stoneware pieces which are beautiful to behold, which beg to be touched, and which love to be used.  Each item is one-of-a-kind, since the handicraft of pottery gives every one its own character and voice.

All of my creations are functional and intended for daily use.  I typically throw the basic form on the wheel from white or brown stoneware clay, but I may later alter it or add hand-built pieces, sometimes both.  The raw clay is dried thoroughly and then fired for the first time in a kiln; glaze is applied, after which the piece is fired again to a final temperature of approximately 2250 oF.
